PHN Fashion Fix: Beyonce Presents Ivy Park [Active Wear]

Today I happen to run across something quite interesting.  Beyoncé has launched an active wear line. The line is called Ivy Park, which Beyonce says it was named because a park is our commonality. We can all go there; we're all welcomed. It's anywhere we create for ourselves

The looks that I’ve seen so far seem fun enough, and the branding is definitely there with Ivy Park plastered somewhere on the material of the clothing for most of the pieces. This is definitely something different from her days of doing House of Dereon with her mother Mrs. Tina Lawson. Even though it has some elements of Mrs. Knowles-Carter shop.beyonce.com style (plastering of words on the clothing) I think it’s a great element branding wise.

It lets the potential consumers know who you are wearing, and also shows that you are vested in the brand. It is also a chance to show off your BeyHive Pride (I think that’s a thing). In any case the King Bey herself shows no sign of slowing down and is slowly but surely building her empire.

I’m excited to see what’s in store for Beyoncé, and her brand. In the mean time she has released Ivy Park to tide us over util her next release (which I’m hoping is the new album). According to www.ivypark.com Ivy Park will be available April 14^th, 2016 and will also be available at these retailers: Nordstrom, Topshop, and Zalando.
